Over 1,300 trucks queuing up at Belarusian border to enter Poland

MINSK, 14 April (BelTA) - Over the weekend, the queue of trucks waiting to enter Poland at the Belarusian border grew by 200, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.

The busiest border crossing is the Polish checkpoint Kukuryki (Kozlovichi on the Belarusian side). Since Friday, the number of trucks waiting to enter the EU has increased from 1,150 to 1,338. Its personnel accepted 56% of the normal number of trucks.

Over the weekend, the Lithuanian border checkpoint Medininkai (Kamenny Log) cleared only 15% of the normal number of trucks (3 out of 20 vehicles per hour).

A total of 420 trucks are queuing up to enter the EU near the Latvian border checkpoint Paternieki (Grigorovshchina). Its personnel handled 29% of the normal number of trucks.

There are 610 passenger cars waiting to enter the EU in front of the Polish border checkpoint Terespol (Brest). The border checkpoint cleared 37% of the normal number of passenger cars over two days.
