Over 1,200 trucks queuing up at Belarusian border to enter Lithuania

MINSK, 11 September (BelTA) – Over 1,200 trucks are waiting to enter Lithuania, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee.

Over the last 24 hours, the least number of trucks, 18% of the normal number, was cleared by the Lithuanian border crossing Medininkai (Kamenny Log on the Belarusian side).

Near the Polish border checkpoint Kukuryki (Kozlovichi on the Belarusian side) 1,000 trucks are queuing up to enter Poland. The border checkpoint has accepted 63% of the normal number of trucks during the day.

A total of 650 trucks are waiting to enter the EU in front of the Latvian border checkpoint Paternieki (Grigorovshchina on the Belarusian side). The border checkpoint has cleared 46% of the standard number of trucks.

The queue of 300 passenger cars and 42 buses is waiting to enter Poland in front of the Polish border checkpoint Terespol (Brest on the Belarusian side).
