Outgoing Belarusian Parliament described as highly productive 

MINSK, 21 March (BelTA) - The tenth session of the House of Representatives was very productive in terms of lawmaking, Chairman of the House of Representatives Vladimir Andreichenko said at the final sitting of the tenth session of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus of the seventh convocation, BelTA has learned.

"The tenth and final session of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus of the seventh convocation is closing today. At the meeting with MPs, the head of state praised our work. Despite the difficult internal and external conditions, the deputy corps, all state authorities in close cooperation with the patriotic forces of the Belarusian society defended the sovereignty of the state, the unity of the people, peace and stability. Moreover, thanks to the political will of the head of state and the broad public dialogue, Belarus has entered a new development stage. It relies on the consistent implementation of the fundamental principles of democracy, social justice and patriotism," Vladimir Andreichenko said.

"It was precisely in such a key that we built our work during the tenth session of the House of Representatives,” the speaker added. “It was very productive, first of all in terms of law-making as we completed the large-scale and responsible work of bringing the current legislation in line with the amended Basic Law.”
