Our Traditions: Alexandria Gathers Friends Festival
The traditions and customs of the nation are the foundation of the statehood. The independent Belarus has not only preserved the legacy of the past but also created new traditions that show the achievements and the best qualities of the Belarusians.
Over the years of independence our sovereign country has been moving confidently forward, developing traditions in various spheres of life. The Kupala Night Festival in the agro-town of Alexandria is one of them. The festival was first held in 2011. Every year in early July Alexandria Gathers Friends Festival takes place in Shklov District, Mogilev Oblast. The festival is based on the cultural exchange between different countries.
