MINSK, 10 October (BelTA) – The organizers of the Marathon of Unity consider extending this campaign to small towns, head of the working group for the Marathon of Unity Anna Lukashenko told the First News TV Channel, BelTA has learned.
Answering the question about the criteria for including certain places into the Marathon of Unity, Anna Lukashenko remarked that the organizers proceeded from the capacities of towns and cities. First of all, these are oblast centers and other big cities. “Today, we consider adding more locations to the list of cities that will host our Marathon of Unity. We have already added Pinsk; several more cities are next in line. And we are considering, let's say, some new formats of holding the marathon that will make it possible to arrange the campaign in smaller towns,” said Anna Lukashenko.
She added that the organizers were looking for interesting formats, including those that had never been used before. “In general, by the way, the Marathon of Unity has many interesting formats that have not been used before,” Anna Lukashenko noted.
