MINSK, 28 December (BelTA) – The proposed constitutional amendments will strengthen stability in Belarus, member of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Sergei Klishevich said on the air of the Belarus 1 TV channel, BelTA informs.
“The proposed constitutional amendments will boost stability and further progressive development of our country,” Sergei Klishevich said.
The day before, the new Belarus' Constitution draft was put out for national debate. Every Belarusian has an opportunity to contribute their views on it.
“As for political statements of our so-called opponents, they did not need this Constitution, they do not need the amendments. They just want power, and not even they, but those who sponsor them, support them and call for illegal actions against Belarus. Of course, they are interested in the use of force while resolving disputes and conflicts in our country. This is what their foreign sponsors demand today. Naturally, we will not allow this to happen. We already see that the society understands this,” the parliamentarian added.
