MINSK, 19 June (BelTA) – Omani Minister of Health Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti was impressed by the full cycle medical care model implemented by the National Medical Center under the Belarus President Property Management Directorate. The Omani minister shared his first impressions of the visit to Minsk with a BelTA correspondent.

“We are very impressed by what we have seen today. The advanced approach to healthcare and rehabilitation, the full cycle of medical care and rehabilitation in one medical facility is quite a unique thing,” Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti said. He added that the center uses cutting-edge technologies for patient rehabilitation.

The delegation was pleasantly surprised by the fact that the center, in addition to healthcare provision, is engaged in scientific research and personnel training.

The National Medical Center under the Belarus President Property Management Directorate is a top-notch multipurpose medical facility providing comprehensive and continuous care. It means that healthcare delivery encompasses all stages from disease prevention and early diagnosis through various treatment modalities and finally, to rehabilitation. It offers medical services in both outpatient and inpatient settings. In addition to medical care, the center is engaged in scientific and educational activities.

A reminder, the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry and the Ministry of Health of the Sultanate of Oman concluded the Memorandum of Understanding on 18 June. The document will pave the way for deeper and closer cooperation between the two countries in such areas as treatment, training of healthcare workers, and production of medicines.
