MINSK, 26 January (BelTA) - Belarus is more a democracy than European countries, international observer from Poland Krzysztof Tolwinski said on the air of the Belarus 1 TV channel, BelTA has learned.
“I am a Pole, but I don’t understand either the government of my country or some of my people. They seem to be envious of the processes that are taking place in Belarus. Because Belarus demonstrates growth and is more a democracy and developing country than Poland or Europe that are engulfed in crises. Belarus is a stable state, you don't have to worry about crises,” Krzysztof Tolwinski stated.
Poles are very Western-oriented, but the West actually looks down on them, the observer added. “We have much more in common with you,” Krzysztof Tolwinski pointed out.
