MINSK, 2 October (BelTA) - The 11th Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia will be held in Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod in June 2025, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Yuri Vorobyov said at a meeting of the inter-parliamentary commission on interregional cooperation of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus and the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation in Minsk on 2 October, BelTA learned.
"The forum will be held in Nizhny Novgorod. The city is already preparing for the event. The forum will be held approximately on 25-27 June next year. I coordinated this issue with Natalya Kochanova [Chairperson of the Council of the Republic] and with Valentina Matviyenko [Chairperson of the Federation Council]. This is the plan for now," Yuri Vorobyov said.
