MINSK, 23 December (BelTA) – State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Aleksandr Volfovich introduced new Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Belarus Konstantin Bychek to the staff of the agency on 23 December, BelTA learned from the Investigative Committee of Belarus.
“Konstantin Bychek’s entire professional life has been deeply involved in investigation. He understands every nuance firsthand. I have no doubt he will take on his role in the Investigative Committee with the necessary sense of duty and understanding,” Aleksandr Volfovich emphasized. He is also certain that the cohesive team of the Investigative Committee will be a reliable support for the new head in solving the tasks assigned to the agency.
Konstantin Bychek was awarded the rank of Major General of Justice by the state secretary of Belarus’ Security Council. The relevant decree was signed by the head of state on 23 December.

Following the ceremonial part of the event, a working meeting was held with the personnel of the central office of the Investigative Committee. The agency’s new chairman, Konstantin Bychek, outlined to the staff the tasks assigned by the president earlier on 23 December.
