Nearly 5.3m Belarusians now fully vaccinated against COVID-19

MINSK, 16 March (BelTA) – Over 5.268 million people in Belarus have completed the COVID-19 vaccination process, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry.

As many as 56.3% of the Belarusian citizens are now fully vaccinated.

As of 16 March over 5.792 million people have got the first shot of a COVID-19 vaccine. The first-dose coverage reached 61.9% of the country's population.

Over 71,500 teenagers aged 12-17 have received one shot of the vaccine, of them more than 47,800 children have been fully vaccinated.
