MINSK, 16 September (BelTA) – Press Secretary of the President of Belarus Natalya Eismont told the Belarus 1 TV channel about an unusual request made by people from various countries in their letters to the head of state, BelTA has learned.
For several years now, ordinary people from various countries have been asking Aleksandr Lukashenko for an autograph, mostly in letters.
“Of course, they always explain why they want it and the reasons they give are very solid, sometimes somewhat unusual. When we read these letters we realize that people are closely following the work of our president, that this is not just another world leader whose autograph they seek just to tick the box,” Natalya Eismont noted.
“Absolutely everyone has a chance. Not a single letter is left without consideration,” assured the press secretary of the president.
