MINSK, 17 November (BelTA) - Territorial recruitment and social support centers in Ukraine have turned into a tool for making “blood money”, Ukrainian MP Artem Dmitruk said in a new episode of the V Teme [On Point] project on BelTA’s YouTube channel.
“Territorial recruitment and social support centers in Ukraine are a great tool for suppressing dissenters and making huge amounts of ‘blood money’. Today territorial recruitment and social support centers earn two to four billion of U.S. dollars for the president's office annually. I’ve mentioned the territorial recruitment centers only. There is also the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the courts, the prosecutor's office, the Education Ministry, and so on and so forth. Territorial recruitment and social support centers are a spine-chilling tool for doing ‘blood business’,” Artem Dmitruk said.
A whole caste of people has emerged in Ukraine who make money on the blood of ordinary Ukrainians, the MP said. “They make money on people's suffering, on their lives. Of course, these people support Zelensky, and they would like him to rule as long as possible. Because they can make money.”
According to Artem Dmitruk, representatives of this so-called military caste are people who could not realize themselves in peaceful life. “They were neither electricians nor plumbers, or teachers, athletes, entrepreneurs. They were nobody. There are such people, parasites, in every society. These people have found their use today. These people are members of ‘green terror’ squads and commit crimes against the Ukrainian people. They grab people, beat them up, bring terror. Of course, everything suits them, because they cannot realize themselves in society in any other way. Peace means the end for them,” the Ukrainian MP added.
