
MINSK, 6 September (BelTA) – The Belarusian Labor and Social Protection Ministry has summed up the results of the summer employment campaign, the ministry’s press service told BelTA.
The top sectors where young people worked this summer included services and trade, agriculture, construction, and manufacturing industry.
In total, almost 37,000 students were employed over the summer, and about 50,000 since the start of the year. During the summer, around 17,000 vacancies were posted daily in the national vacancy database. As of 1 September, about 3,500 offers from employers remained active, nearly 1,000 of them for minors.
