MOSCOW, 9 August (BelTA) – The Union State festival celebrating the creativity of the young will be held in Moscow from 19 to 23 August, BelTA learned from the Union State Standing Committee, one of the event's organizers.
The motto of the festival is “Preserving the roots of our peoples – moving toward the future”. Participants will enjoy guided tours, workshops in vocal arts, dance, public speaking and acting, and meetings with notable figures. The program also features visits to the Izmailovo Kremlin, the Victory Museum on Poklonnaya Hill and the Main Cathedral of the Russian Armed Forces.
The gala concert “Memory of Generations” is to be held at the Moscow Pioneers Palace on Vorobyovy Gory (Sparrow Hills). It is meant to highlight the historical significance of the Great Victory for the peoples of Belarus and Russia and foster patriotism among youth and preserve the memory of the two nations’ heroic past. “The festival will provide a platform for young talents to showcase their skills in creative competition and convey the emotional depth and power of wartime songs to the audience,” the Standing Committee emphasized.
