MINSK, 12 November (BelTA) – A group of refugees is going to the spontaneous camp at the Belarusian-Polish border, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.
The committee's spokesman Anton Bychkovsky said: “We see a group of migrants moving towards the spontaneous camp located near the border crossing Bruzgi.”
BelTA earlier quoted the State Border Committee as saying that tensions at the Belarusian-Polish border are rising. Thousands of refugees, including women and children, live and sleep on the bare ground in cold weather and desperately need food, water, and medications. All of them have no intention of staying in Belarus and openly state their desire to seek protection in the European Union.
