MINSK, 5 September (BelTA) – Belarus' Ambassador to China Kirill Rudy met with Huang Mei, the director of the School of Russian Language of Beijing Foreign Studies University in Beijing on 5 September, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in China.
The parties discussed the cooperation between the Chinese university and Belarusian higher education institutions in educational exchange, teaching the Belarusian language and culture, and agreed on practical steps to popularize Belarusian history and traditions.
Beijing Foreign Studies University is one of Chinese leading universities. It stands out among others by a large variety of languages taught, disciplines and professions, which makes it important for training experts in diplomacy, external trade, cultural exchange with foreign countries and highly skilled translators and interpreters.
