MINSK, 11 October (BelTA) - Molodechno is ready for the Marathon of Unity and is living by it, Chairman of the Molodechno District Executive Committee Pavel Gubko told the media, BelTA has learned.
On 11 October Molodechno is hosting the national social and cultural action Marathon of Unity. The two-day program of events promises to be events-packed and diverse.
"It is a great honor to be the first to host the Marathon of Unity. It is also a very responsible job. First of all, I want to express my gratitude to all the organizers for the vote of confidence and for choosing Molodechno. The city is ready and lives by this event, because the program is very packed," Pavel Gubko said.
He noted that the Marathon will bring together teams from different regions: "We want to show that our Belarus is united. The mural that we will unveil tomorrow also symbolizes the unity of our people, family, reflects our Belarusian traditions."

Pavel Gubko noted that the city has both cultural and also industrial potential. "We recommend guests to visit our park, one of the largest in Belarus, and also the city center, Pritytskogo Street, which the locals call ‘the Broadway’," Pavel Gubko added.
On the first day, 11 October, bloggers and members of creative teams from other regions will go on excursions to enterprises and iconic places of the region. Two interesting meetings "Not-boring not-lectures" are also planned within the framework of the marathon.
The second day will be even more eventful and diverse. Residents and guests will enjoy a mobile exposition of the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War, a city quest, a "train" of food trucks, two BelTA photo exhibitions, one of which will be presented for the first time, and a Meet-and-Greet with outstanding country people.The Marathon of Unity in Molodechno will wrap up with a large-scale concert "Time Has Chosen Us" featuring both professional artists and amateurs.
