Minsk to host international conference on utility services in late October

MINSK, 26 October (BelTA) – The second international conference on technological progress in the public utilities sector will take place in Minsk on 29-30 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the National Academy of Sciences.

The conference will be held to discuss new trends and promising technologies, as well as technological equipment in the main areas of the public utilities sector, the development of the single platform to promote technological progress in the sector.

Participants will consider a set of scientific and practical tasks relevant for today's public utilities sector which is nearing significant technological modernization.

The conference will include three sections and four penal discussions with the participation of scientists and specialists. Participants will discuss issues related to innovative modernization of water supply and water discharge technologies, development of heating systems, the use of alternative energy supplies.

The program of the conference will feature an exhibition of innovative technologies for the public utilities sector.

The event is organized by the National Academy of Sciences and the Utilities Ministry.
