MINSK, 8 September (BelTA) – Minsk will play host to the second congress of the Eurasian Arrhythmology Association and the 8th Congress of Cardiologists, Cardiac Surgeons and X-ray Endovascular Surgeons of Belarus on 16-17 September, BelTA learned from the press service of the Healthcare Ministry.
The events will be hosted by the Belarusian State Medical University. The forum will bring together specialists from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Canada, Argentina and other countries.
The plenary session speakers from Belarus, Russia and Ukraine will speak about the modern tactics for the treatment of atrial fibrillation, risk stratification and prevention of sudden cardiac death, ways to increase the effectiveness of treatment of chronic heart failure, including surgical treatment, tactics of protecting target organs during the COVID-19 pandemic. There will also be the Academician Sidorenko competition of young scientists.
The congress will also discuss the most important achievements of medical science, new technologies, innovations in healthcare and involves holding symposia in a number of areas.
The events have been organized by the Eurasian Arrhythmology Association, the Healthcare Ministry of Belarus, the National Science and Research Center of Cardiology, and the Belarusian State Medical University.
