MINSK, 26 August (BelTA) – The Days of Yekaterinburg will be held in Minsk, head of the Culture Department of the Minsk City Executive Committee Yekaterina Luchina said at a meeting of the Minsk City Executive Committee, BelTA has learned.
The event will be held on 13 September within the celebration of the 957th anniversary of Minsk. The City Day holiday is marked annually on the second Saturday of September.
“The Days of Yekaterinburg will include the following cultural events: an exhibition of the famous Russian artist Alexey Efremov at the Mikhail Savitsky Art Gallery, an exhibition devoted to the history of Yekaterinburg in one of the branches of the Minsk City History Museum, a concert program featuring Yekaterinburg music groups on the outdoor stage on Svobody Square,” Yekaterina Luchina said.
It is also planned to organize a meeting of library communities of Yekaterinburg and Minsk and a round table with library staff, and to create a Yekaterinburg corner in one of Minsk libraries.
“It will be a large-scale and interesting event. We invite everyone to visit it,” Yekaterina Luchina said.
