MINSK, 16 September (BelTA) - Minsk has been decked for the Day of National Unity which is celebrated on 17 September. The holiday was established on 7 June 2021 by decree No. 206 of the head of state Aleksandr Lukashenko. Although the Day of National Unity is still a fairly young holiday, it has been warmly embraced by Belarusians. 17 September has become a symbol of the unity of the Belarusian people: their destiny, traditions, cultural and historical heritage.
