Minister: Over 100,000 Ukrainian troops on border with Belarus

MINSK, 22 February (BelTA) - Ukraine has a strike group of 112,000-114,000 troops on the border with Belarus, Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin said in an interview with the Rossiya24 TV channel, BelTA has learned.

"As of today this group numbers about 112,000-114,000 troops. Of these, about 17,000 are border guards," Viktor Khrenin said.

The defense minister noted that the current situation does not require the military build-up on the part of Belarus on the border with Ukraine.
