MINSK, 5 December (BelTA) – The Union State should focus on promoting mutually beneficial cooperation in the economic sector, State Secretary of the Belarus-Russia Union State Dmitry Mezentsev said at a meeting with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko, BelTA has learned.
“The Union State should zero in on mutually beneficial economic cooperation. Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and you instructed the two governments to take over humanitarian matters, including education, culture, sports; tourism clusters are coming to the forefront now,” Dmitry Mezentsev remarked.
A reminder, the Union State Supreme State Council will convene in Minsk on 6 December to discuss a 10-point agenda. “All issues have been very carefully worked through; the agenda is truly multifaceted, and it was agreed upon by the parties,” the state secretary added.
