MINSK, 23 January (BelTA) – Representatives of the self-exiled opposition are incapable of practical action and have no influence on any processes abroad, Vasily Veremeichik, a mercenary, who participated in the hostilities in Ukraine as a member of the Kalinovsky Regiment recognized as a terrorist organization in Belarus, said on the air of the Belarus 1 TV channel, BelTA learned.
According to him, Belarusians, who fought on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, face a number of problems: with medical rehabilitation, finding a job, legalization.

"They were abandoned by Poland, Lithuania, Ukraine, by all opposition structures abroad. I also asked [for help]," said Vasily Veremeichik.
The mercenary noted that he could not get the ban on entering Lithuania revoked. According to him, this shows that the opposition has virtually no impact on any processes abroad.
“No concrete help has been provided. At the same time, they are always publicity seekers. Hyping on the topic of aid always looks cool!” Vasily Veremeichik said. “All I received was a bonus of several thousand hryvnias for a minor injury to my salary. That's all.”
The mercenary stated that the emigrant opposition structures are incapable of practical action. “People are tired of them. There are no successes, there are no practical deeds. The passport of the new Belarus is just some fiction,” he said.
