MINSK, 27 January (BelTA) – Minsk Mayor Vladimir Kukharev spoke about the social and economic development of Minsk in the next five years as he met with the staff of the Minsk city road maintenance and repairs enterprise Gorremavtodor on 27 January, BelTA learned from the “Minsk. Official” Telegram channel.
According to Vladimir Kukharev, emphasis will be made on the improvement of the efficiency of the industrial and construction sectors, healthcare system, and education. The city authorities will also build and upgrade healthcare facilities, new schools, and sports facilities.
Attention will also be paid to improving the quality of housing and utilities services. The annual target for overhaul of housing stock will be over one million square meters in 2021 and will remain at the same level for the rest of the five-year period.
In the next five-year period, Minsk will continue developing urban green spaces. Plans are also in place to renovate all bridges and flyovers, where necessary. The works will run on a tight schedule to cause as little inconvenience to Minsk residents as possible.
Vladimir Kukharev expects Gorremavtodor to continue developing, introducing new technologies, and improving the quality of its services.
