Dmitry Krutoi welcomed the audience and stressed a special responsibility for the organizers of the Marathon of Unity because Aleksandr Lukashenko hails from Mogilev Oblast and shares a deep connection with the region.

The head of the Presidential Administration recalled that Mogilev is an integral part of the biography of the head of state, starting from his childhood, study and work. "All the main milestones of the presidential career are in one way or another connected with the region. Mogilev residents have never let our leader down, and I am sure that he will never let you down," Dmitry Krutoi said.

"Mogilev is the backbone of the economy not only of the city but also of the country in terms of many commodity items," he said, thanking the labor collectives for their efforts and professionalism.
At the end of his speech, Dmitry Krutoi noted the importance of unity and harmony for achieving the country’s ambitious development goals and for successfully overcoming modern challenges. "Genuine national unity is the basis for implementing all our ambitious plans and programs, and also for responding to the challenges that our country faces today," he said.
