MINSK, 18 November (BelTA) – At the harvest festival in Klimovichi, journalists from the First News Channel came across a namesake of the president of Belarus and could not help asking him for an interview, BelTA reports.
A vocational training instructor from Mstislavl District was asked whether it was hard to be a namesake of Aleksandr Lukashenko and whether he takes advantage of having such a famous name.
“It is not difficult to have such a last name, I don't take advantage of it to get myself further in life. I try to achieve everything on my own. People ask whether I am his relative or not. When I came to Minsk to get education, teachers were a little nervous, they asked questions,” he said.
