MINSK, 15 October (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko gave his approval of the draft welfare decree, suggesting further finalization of some of its provisions, Belarusian Labor and Social Security Minister Natalya Pavlyuchenko told the media after the meeting with the head of state to present the report on the country’s welfare policies on 15 October, BelTA has learned.
“The draft welfare decree has been approved. We will finalize some of its parts and submit the document for further consideration and signing by the head of state,” the minister said.
The amendments will remove pension limitations for working retirees, introduce changes to the administration (calculation) and assignment of pensions for future retirees, pension provision for parents with many children, parents of disabled children, and home delivery of pensions.
