Lida gearing up for Belarusian Written Language Day

MINSK, 26 August (BelTA) – Lida will host the 32nd Belarusian Written Language Day on 6-7 September. This year, the event will be dedicated to several milestone dates: the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the 500th anniversary of the publication of The Apostle by Francysk Skaryna, and the anniversaries of prominent figures in national literature. The whole district center is being renewed.
