ZVYOZDNY GORODOK, 1 March (BelTA) - Flying into space is a truly big step for Belarus, Belarusian Anastasia Lenkova said during a pre-flight conference with the participation of the ISS-71/VE-21 prime and backup crews at the Cosmonaut Training Center, BelTA has learned.
"This is why we back up the prime crew in order to replace it if necessary. We are mentally ready for this, and this is what we are here for," Anastasia Lenkova said.
According to the Belarusian, the flight into space is really a big step for Belarus. "When my family learned that I was going to Zvyozdny Gorodok in Russia, they were very excited for me. It was my dream, so my family supported me in every possible way," Anastasia Lenkova added.
