MINSK, 22 June (BelTA) – On 22 June, the leadership of the State Secretariat of the Security Council and heads of uniformed services took part in a ceremony to lay flowers and wreaths at the Victory Monument in Minsk, BelTA has learned.
Flowers were laid by the leadership and representatives of the Prosecutor General's Office, the Defense Ministry, the Emergencies Ministry, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Security Committee, the Investigative Committee, the State Border Committee, the State Customs Committees and others.
22 June in Belarus is the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the Genocide of the Belarusian People. Belarusians remember all those who sacrificed their lives to defend the Motherland, all those who died at the hands of the Nazis and those who died in the rear from hunger and deprivation.
