Kyrgyzstan shows interest in Belarus’ best practices in education

MINSK, 6 August (BelTA) – Kyrgyzstan is interested in adopting Belarus’ best practices in education, Belarusian Education Minister Andrei Ivanets told the media following a meeting meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to Belarus Erbol Sultanbaev, BelTA has learned from the Education Ministry press service.

Kyrgyzstan highly appreciates the level of the Belarusian education system and is interested in adopting Belarus’ best practices and sending more students to study technological and IT majors.

The Education Ministry added that applicants from Kyrgyzstan can now enter Belarusian universities both on a fee-paying and state-funded basis.

According to Andrei Ivanets, education is one of the important areas for the development of trade and economic relations between the two countries and humanitarian ties.

"Establishing new contacts and developing a more engaged dialogue between universities will help both states reach a new level of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation," the ministry said.
