MINSK, 29 November (BelTA) – Belarus is open to active development of mutually beneficial cooperation with the law enforcement agencies of the United Arab Emirates, Belarusian Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Kubrakov said at the closing ceremony of the training course for employees of the UAE Ministry of Internal Affairs, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Attending the event were Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the UAE to Belarus Ibrahim Salim Mohamed Al Musharrakh and a delegation of the UAE Ministry of Internal Affairs, who came to examine the training opportunities for their employees. Ivan Kubrakov stressed that the Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs will be happy to share all its developments of in public security.
"You will have the opportunity to ask any questions during the meetings with our Special Forces commanders. If necessary, we can adjust or develop a new program for the next groups, which we expect to welcome in 2025. We are willing to actively develop mutually beneficial cooperation with the UAE law enforcement agencies in various areas," the minister stressed.
Ivan Kubrakov presented the UAE policemen with certificates confirming the high level of their training. After that, the delegation toured the educational institution and the training ground of the riot police of the Minsk City Department of Internal Affairs.
