MINSK, 21 November (BelTA) - The Belarusian parliamentary delegation led by Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Natalya Kochanova is set to attend a regular session of the Council and the 57th plenary meeting of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (CIS IPA) in St. Petersburg, Russia on 21-22 November, BelTA learned from the press service of the upper house of parliament.
The parliamentary delegation will comprise members of the Council of the Republic Sergei Aleinik, Sergei Sivets, Vladislav Tatarinovich, Aleksandr Lukyanov and MP Valentin Semenyako.
Chairperson of the Council of the Republic Natalya Kochanova is expected to take part in the discussion of agenda issues at the meeting of the CIS IPA Council and hold a number of bilateral international meetings on the sidelines of the event.
The members of the parliamentary delegation are also expected to work as part of the 57th plenary session of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly, CIS IPA standing commissions, the Youth Inter-Parliamentary Assembly meeting, the international conference “30 Years of International Election Observation in the CIS: Experience and Practical Results”.
