MINSK, 19 September (BelTA) – Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Natalya Kochanova invited Ugandan senior government members to pay an official visit to Belarus. She conveyed this invitation as she met with Vice-President of the Republic of Uganda Jessica Alupo during the Fourth Eurasian Women's Forum on 19 September, BelTA has learned.

“We have invited the Ugandan leadership to come to our country on an official visit because they are interested in cooperation with us. They are aware of our achievements, and we are ready to share technologies, to supply our goods to Uganda. The president has repeatedly said that we must actively engage with all countries that are willing to constructively cooperate with Belarus. Especially with African countries - we must interact with them very closely and effectively,” said Natalya Kochanova.

“Therefore, I am sure such a visit will take place in the near term, and we will be able to discuss all issues related to cooperation between Belarus and Uganda,” the speaker emphasized.
