MINSK, 25 October (BelTA) – Friendly relations between parliamentarians of Belarus and Serbia benefit our peoples and countries, Chairperson of the Council of the Republic Natalya Kochanova said during a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Serbia to Belarus Ilina Vukajlović in Minsk on 25 October, BelTA has learned.
"Inter-parliamentary cooperation is very important for us. We are doing our best to ensure that friendly relations between the parliamentarians of our countries are beneficial to our peoples and countries," Natalya Kochanova said.
According to the speaker, there is still a lot of work to be done in terms of economic cooperation. "I would like the trade to be more vibrant. We will do everything to change the situation for the better. Because the economy is very important," she emphasized.

This weekend, w will break ground for a church in honor of Sava of Serbia in Minsk. Our colleagues, parliamentarians from Serbia, will attend the event. Another important aspect is the support of each other in the international arena and in international organizations," Natalya Kochanova added.
