MINSK, 27 November (BelTA) – Belarusian MPs are actively working on the international arena, Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Natalya Kochanova said during a meeting with students and professors of Belarusian State University on 27 November, BelTA has learned.
"The president warned about today’s turbulent times and geopolitical division of the world back in 2018-2019. Nowadays, our task is to deliver the truth about our country. You should not think that we are in deep isolation. It is not true. It is evidenced by our activities. Belarus is a member of various international structures: the Inter-Parliamentary Union, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, the CIS IPA, the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly. We have already become a partner of BRICS, a full member of the SCO and about 20 other international organizations," Natalya Kochanova emphasized.
