MINSK, 26 April (BelTA) – The meeting of the defense ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states is taking place in Astana on 26 April. Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin will deliver a report at the meeting, BelTA has learned.
On the eve of the meeting, the heads of the delegations planted trees in front of the building of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan.
The participants of the meeting will discuss various aspects of military cooperation and exchange views on challenges and threats to regional and international security facing the SCO member states and measures to neutralize them.
