YEKATERINBURG, 7 July (BelTA) – Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Viktor Karankevich will pay a working visit to Yekaterinburg, BelTA learned from the government press service.
The vice premier will visit INNOPROM, one of Russia’s largest industrial expos, where the national exposition of Belarus is also showcased.
The program of the visit includes negotiations with Acting Governor of Sverdlovsk Oblast Denis Pasler, Kaluga Oblast Governor Vladislav Shapsha and Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov.
Viktor Karankevich will speak at the strategic session dedicated to technological leadership. He will highlight Belarus’ achievements while outlining potential areas for joint initiatives and partnerships.
INNOPROM is an international industrial exhibition in Russia, held annually in Yekaterinburg since 2010. Over the years, INNOPROM has become a key event for Russian and foreign manufacturing sectors.
Belarus has been participating in the INNOPROM expo in Yekaterinburg since 2012. In 2023, Belarus was the partner country, marking their largest representation at the event.
This year, INNOPROM in Yekaterinburg is a bridge to the upcoming event in Minsk. INNOPROM Belarus will be held in Minsk from 29 September to 1 October 2025. The main innovations of the Belarusian industry and related industries will be presented there.
