MINSK, 26 November (BelTA) – Four evacuation flights are scheduled for 25-26 November. They will take refugees from Minsk to Iraq, Consul of Iraq in Russia and Belarus Majid Al-Kinani said. The diplomat arrived at Minsk National Airport, BelTA has learned.
“As agreed in Iraq, there will be two flights today and two flights tomorrow taking out 650 people. We will fly back home everyone who is here, even if it is 10,000 people. But we don't know exactly how many more will come. Now a thousand people want to return voluntarily,” Majid Al-Kinani said.
The consul emphasized that everyone is returning to Iraq voluntarily.
