International Space Station cosmonauts extend Belarusian Science Day greetings

MINSK, 24 January (BelTA) – Roscosmos cosmonauts Aleksandr Skvortsov and Oleg Skripochka from the International Space Station (ISS) wished Happy Belarusian Science Say to the Belarusian scientific community from the orbit, BelTA learned from the press service of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

“The Belarusian space industry has been developing steadily,” said Aleksandr Skvortsov. “The country produces a number of high-tech systems, components, materials for space technology. A new Russian-Belarusian satellite for Earth remote sensing has been designed together with Russian colleagues. Devices made by Belarusian scientists are successfully used on the ISS.”

Oleg Skripochka thanked the Belarusian scientists, whose names have been etched in gold in the world science. “May you always find answers even to the most difficult questions. We wish your and your families health, happiness and well-being,” he said.
