MINSK, 24 August (BelTA) – Participation in International Army Games stimulates combat training of military personnel, BelTA learned from Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, First Deputy Defense Minister of Belarus, Major-General Viktor Gulevich.
Viktor Gulevich said that the Confident Reception competition of the International Army Games brings together military personnel from various countries. The competition offers an opportunity to share cutting-edge practices regarding the establishment of communication. The experience of all the armed conflicts of the last few years indicates that reliable communication is crucial to proper command and control.
The popularity of the Confident Reception competition among the many countries that participate in the International Army Games 2022 indicates that it contributes to performance of the armed forces. Viktor Gulevich stressed that participation in competitions of the International Army Games stimulates combat training in specific areas. “Matters of digitization and automation of control systems become more and more important every year. As for the Confident Reception competition, military personnel work with old and tested communication systems in addition to new, cutting-edge technologies,” he concluded.
