Interactive 5D building passport presented at BUDEXPO 2021

MINSK, 17 March (BelTA) – The Minsk Oblast Agency for State Registration and Land Cadaster presented the creation of an interactive 5D passport as a service during the 23rd international architecture and civil engineering expo BUDEXPO 2021 in Minsk, the press service of the State Property Committee told BelTA.

An interactive passport is a digital 3D model of a permanent structure or a set of structures. It includes information about the location of parts of the structure in space and time, information about other measurable parameters, including those relating to the use of the structure. These parameters are integrated into the model as information layers. Their addition allows describing the whole package as a 5D model.

During the expo the Minsk Oblast Agency for State Registration and Land Cadaster presented modern technologies that allow organizing a virtual tour inside models of buildings using virtual reality glasses.

The equipment the agency uses in the course of its work was also on display.

The international architecture and civil engineering expo BUDEXPO 2021 is scheduled to take place in Minsk on 17-20 March. Architectural solutions for a modern urban environment are demonstrated during the expo as well as types of designing used for single-family houses and apartment buildings, energy-effective solutions for the civil engineering industry, concepts of comfortable buildings, and smart systems for the management of buildings.
