MINSK, 23 December (BelTA) – The International Institute of Labor and Social Relations (IILSR) from Minsk joined the International Association of Universities (IAU), BelTA learnt from the university.
By joining the International Association of Universities, IILSR has gained access to grants of the program which focuses on development of leadership skills for the implementation of reforms in higher education. IILSR can now can use the global higher education database, participate in conferences, seminars and other activities organized by the IAU, exchange information with universities that are members of this organization.
The IAU is the UNESCO-based worldwide association of higher education institutions. It brings together institutions and organizations from 120 countries for reflection and action on common concerns and collaborates with various international, regional and national bodies active in higher education. One of the main objectives of the IAU is to promote the quality of higher education through international cooperation.
