MINSK, 19 November (BelTA) – Belarus' first Huawei training center was opened in Minsk on 19 November, BelTA has learned.
The center was established in line with the cooperation agreement signed by OOO Bel Huawei Technologies and Institute of IT & Business Administration. The institute is a Huawei authorized learning partner.
During the opening ceremony it was noted that Huawei's authorized centers for training IT specialists successfully operate all over the world and are represented in 149 countries. Over 70,000 certified specialists have been trained, including 5,000 specialists with expert (HCIE) status.
Director of Huawei Enterprise Business Group in Belarus Zhu Tianxing noted: “Training plays a key role in corporate business development, particularly initially. Only in this manner will specialists of partners and customers be able to study peculiarities and applied capabilities of Huawei products and solutions.”
The institute's cooperation with Huawei will begin with basic programs in the area of IP networks. According to the institute's Rector Vladimir Dyubkov, there are plans to train over 100 specialists from customer companies and students in Minsk and the oblast capitals in 2019. To ensure uniform education, all the instructors of the institute have to pass a certification exam. “Now specialists, who work with Huawei equipment, will be able to improve their technical skills and acquire the broad spectrum of knowledge they need for future career growth,” he noted.
