MOSCOW, 21 October (BelTA) – Preparations have been launched for the Eurasian Economic Forum which is due to take place in Minsk in December 2020, Iya Malkina, Aide to the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, said at an online media briefing on 21 October, BelTA has learned.
“We are determined to hold the forum in-person. The current epidemiological situation may bring in some adjustments, however. We invite all the stakeholders, including business representatives and scientists, to take an active part both in the forum and its preparations,” said Iya Malkina.
In her words, the working group on the forum concept and its action plan is led by member of the Board (Minister) for Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission Sergei Glazyev.
