Head of Tajik CEC: Elections in Belarus are organized at highest level

MINSK, 23 February (BelTA) – The elections in Belarus have been organized at the highest level, Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Tajikistan Bakhtiyor Khudoyorzoda noted during a meeting with Chairman of the Belarusian Central Election Commission Igor Karpenko in Minsk on 23 February, BelTA has learned. 

According to him, you get the atmosphere of the elections already at the airport. "The TV news starts with the election theme early in the morning and ends with the elections late at night," Bakhtiyor Khudoyorzoda said. “People earnestly go to the polls. They want to cast their ballots. All this suggests that the elections are organized at the highest level." 

The head of the Central Election Commission of Tajikistan expressed gratitude for the invitation to monitor the elections in Belarus. "The policy of our presidents is to nurture friendship and rapprochement between our peoples. Therefore, we came here with the best intentions. We want the elections to go at the highest level, in a calm atmosphere so that the people of Belarus express their will," he said.
