GRODNO, 23 March (BelTA) - People came to the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Grodno to lay flower in memory of those killed in the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall, BelTA has learned.
"We finished watching a hockey match and started scrolling through the feed and saw the news about the terrorist attack. We saw different figures, terrible pictures of what had happened, how people were shot point-blank, panic. It was scary and painful. We tried to go to bed but could not sleep? We called friends and acquaintances. We couldn't even imagine that this could happen," said Andrei Yaroshevich, who came to the Consulate of the Russian Federation in Grodno.

"Having heard about such monstrous event, the police of Grodno Oblast could not stand aside. Naturally, we came to lay flowers and light lamps in memory of those who died. And to support the Russian law enforcement agencies in the detention of the perpetrators," said Andrei Tsydik, the official representative of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Grodno Oblast Executive Committee.

His wife Anastasia added: "First of all, it hurts, because you immediately think of your loved ones that could be in this place... At such moments, you understand how fragile life is."
