
MINSK, 24 June (BelTA) - U.S. Special Envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg commented on his meeting with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko on the social media platform X, BelTA has learned.
“Overall, great team effort. Our delegation met with the leader of Belarus, Lukashenko and his team. John Coale [U.S. Deputy Special Envoy for Ukraine] led discussions on US-Belarus bilateral relations,” he wrote.

Keith Kellogg added that the conflict in Ukraine was also among the topics discussed.
Earlier, Press Secretary of the Belarusian president Natalya Eismont stated that the 20 June talks between Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko and U.S. Special Envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg covered highly relevant issues. In particular, they discussed the current situation in Ukraine and the Middle East, Belarus’ relations with Russia and China, and the U.S. and EU sanctions policies toward Belarus, Russia, and other countries.
